BAJ Program

BAJ is for startups at the Pre-Seed to Series A+ levels. The program includes significant networking opportunities with investors, targeted coaching, customer interviews, collaboration sessions and full-day training sessions from top-level executives from around the globe. Topics span an impressive range including technology, legal, finance, sales, marketing, leadership, storytelling and exponential thinking. The key knowledge goal of BAJ is to support founders in enabling their startups to become increasingly investable.

  • We support founders with capital, content and customers to help drive growth. To achieve this, we established a multi-sided market where founders engage BAJ community members to increase market visibility, drive capital formation, and gain governance perspectives. Investors come to BAJ seeking excellent deal flow. Moreover, early stage founders look to us to provide a sort of differentiated corporate training, one that is often absent for teams during their startup journeys.

  • BAJ focuses on a one week intensive, which helps initiate key relationships that can span a lifetime. Founders network with fellow cohort members, can reach out to alumni, and have been able to inspire investors and request advisors to engage to support further venture growth.

  • When we launched BAJ we noticed that something was not quite right with the accelerator market. How could it be that startups would give more than 7% of their company's equity for unproven accelerator experiences? Thus, we established a model where startups could pay a simple program fee, as buying things with equity is the most expensive way to procure something.

  • We have had companies at the Pre-Seed stage join BAJ. If you’ve simply just had an idea and are not ready to launch your venture in earnest, it’s likely too soon.

  • To date, we’ve had companies join BAJ as late as the Series B level. Since we’re an equity-free accelerator we operate across a wide range in the startup lifecycle. Moreover, astute founders leverage us for an important training opportunity for their team. The key in entrepreneurship is not to believe you know everything, and we consider it a privilege to support founders who are earnest, impactful and mission-driven.
